Mount St Helens from Lahar Viewpoint. This photo was taken from the south side of Mt. St. Helens from the Lahar Viewpoint. Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington, USA.
A mud flow covered this area during the 1980 eruption, hence no large vegetation was present at the time the photo was taken in 2001. Lahar Viewpoint is near Lava Canyon on NF road 83.
